If you currently belong to another ELCA church, your membership can be transferred to Gloria Dei. If you belong to another Christian church, or if you don't belong to a church but have been baptized, you can be received at Gloria Dei by affirmation of faith. If you have not been baptized, you will need to receive instruction in the Christian faith and be baptized in order to join Gloria Dei.

If you would like to remain a member of another church you can become an associate member of Gloria Dei. Associate members have all the privileges and duties of full members, except they cannot vote or run for office.
