On December 26, 2004, the eighth grade confirmation students and the high school youth went to Build-a-Bear Workshop to make teddy bears, then they took them to children in Lutheran General Hospital.

The limo departs Gloria Dei at 9:00 a.m. sharp.

We select our bears.

All sewn up and ready to name.

Names are printed on birth certificates.

Lunch at a favorite 5-star restaurant.

We arrive at Lutheran General.

Bears are distributed to sick children.

We return to Gloria Dei in the late afternoon knowing that we made a difference in some childrens' lives.
