Praise and Celebration Ensemble
Cherub Choir
Our Cherub Choir is for kindergarten through second graders and serves as an introduction to organized singing. They meet on Wednesdays (October - May) from 5:30 P.M. to 6:00 P.M. and sing four times per year.
Kids Of The Kingdom Choir
(3rd through 6th grades)
The Kids of the Kingdom Choir meets every Wednesday from 5:00 to 6:00 p.m. in the Lounge. They sing approximately once a month for either the 8:30 a.m. or 11:00 a.m. worship service. The choir also participates in services for the church holidays. Each year, they present a musical to local retirement communities and at both the 8:30 and ll:00 services at Gloria Dei. All children in the 3rd – 6th grade age group are welcome.

Junior Praise Team
The Junior Praise Team involves those from seventh grade through Senior High School. Many of the 7th and 8th graders of the confirmation program are part of this choir. They sing on the third Sunday of each month at the 11:00 A.M. Sunday service and rehearse on Wednesdays, 6:30 P.M. - 7:00 P.M.
Senior Choir
The Senior Choir presents the message in song each week at the 8:30 A.M. Sunday service. This choir rehearses on Wednesdays, 8:00 P.M. - 9:30 P.M. The senior choir has presented Handel's "Messiah", Schubert's "Mass in G Major", Vivaldi's "Gloria", and John Rutter's "Requiem", "Magnificat", and "Gloria". Singers in this group range in age from the late teens on into the seventies. The repertoire of the Choir ranges from classics to contemporary. If you enjoy singing, give the Choir a try!
Instrumental
Gloria Dei has always encouraged its members to use their talents productively. Brass, woodwind, and string players are utilized for service music and periodically accompany the Senior Choir. They rehearse on an "as needed" basis. Since our choirs present a variety of music that uses orchestral accompaniment, there are ample opportunities to use your musical talents.
Senior Bells
Our five-octave bell choir, open to all, plays regularly in our worship services. Rehearsals are Wednesdays, 7:00 P.M. - 7:50 P.M.
Junior Bells
Our Music for Youth includes a bell choir for grade 5 and older youth which rehearses Wednesdays, 6:30 P.M. - 7:00 P.M.
Praise and Celebration Ensemble
The Praise and Celebration Ensemble is a group that contains instrumentalists (The Celebration Band) and singers (The Celebration Singers) that together provide music for our weekly Sunday Celebration and Praise Worship at 11:00 A.M. They rehearse at 10:00 a.m. Sunday morning in the Sanctuary. The music and order of service are closely related to the Gospel message of the day.
