Welcome to Gloria Dei, and thanks for visiting. We’re a Lutheran (ELCA) congregation in Downers Grove, a family-friendly western suburb of Chicago. We’re near the Oak Brook corridor of businesses and shopping, and conveniently located on the north side of the suburb.

Our congregation is large enough to provide a full range of programs, but small enough to make it easy to meet people like yourselves. Worship and education are important to us. So are community service and mission beyond the community.
