What to expect inside
There are currently 2 opportunities to join us for worship each weekend.
Sunday morning at 8:30AM** we have a traditional Lutheran worship service. This service uses and full liturgy and mostly traditional hymns, led by our organist and cantor. If you come from a Lutheran or Catholic background this service should feel familiar to you. This service always includes Communion. **This service will be ASL-interpreted for the hearing impaired.
Sunday morning at 10:30 AM we offer a contemporary worship service. This service does not contain a scripted liturgy and is led by the pastors and the praise band. Music is more contemporary in nature, and the structure of the service is more free form than our other services. As with our other offerings, this service always includes communion.
Location and Parking
Our church is located on the north side of Downers Grove, a family-friendly western suburb of Chicago. We are directly across the street from Downers North High School. We are easy to find, and parking is ample and free!

Saturday: Closed
If you would like to join us virtually on Sundays we invite you, your family, and all in your household to join us for worship online. We ask that you prepare bread and wine or grape juice ahead of time so that you and we can commune together. If the stream time is inconvenient, the worship will be uploaded for you to join at a convenient time for you and yours. Obviously our Lord Jesus and His Church are bigger than time and space.
